Doug Wallace is certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a Specialist in Civil Litigation. He practices civil litigation exclusively with an emphasis on motor vehicle and complex personal injury litigation including trial and appellate advocacy. He has handled cases at the Ontario Superior Court, the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.
Doug represents individuals and insurers at arbitrations and appeals before the Financial Services Commission of Ontario and at private arbitrations involving loss transfer and priority disputes. He has also acted as counsel before the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal.
Doug is a frequent speaker at seminars and conferences organized by the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Middlesex Law Association, the Advocates’ Society, and the London Claims Association as well as various industry and medical associations. He has also authored articles for law and advocacy journals.
Doug is a member of the Advocates’ Society, Middlesex Law Association, London Claims Association, Canadian Defence Lawyers and the Brain Injury Association of London and Region. He is active in the community and is a proud sponsor of local hockey and soccer teams. He is married with two very active children. |
